Are you attending a class to learn Hindi? I learnt Hindi when I shifted to Delhi, from my neighbours and friends. I also watched Hindi films and read Hindi books. Since I knew Sanskrit it was easy to read Hindi. I did not know how to speak and that I learnt by talking to children, mainly, and some friends.
